Siblings,Carter and Sadie have been separated until one night when there father mysteriously disappeared or to them "locked in a coffin and sank to the floor". Which both of them are taken in by their uncle Amos and he too then disappeared.With their cat-turned goddess bast they travel America to fight the evil god Set but there's a certain twist in the end.
It's like Percy Jackson-with a hint of Harry Potter-in an Egyptian mythology theme. But I simply loved it even though it sure is a long read but Hey great things come in whatever packages, Right?. It gets an 9.3 because the other parts in the end are somewhat very mixed up and a little confusing.According to Rick Riordan's Blog the 2nd book is coming out in May 2011 and the last is coming out in May 2012.
